Who are we?

We are dedicated citizens of the Quad Cities from all walks of life! Some of us are young professionals; some are hard-working businessmen and women. Some of us are even enjoying retirement. But, the one thing that unites us is our strong Kiwanis spirit to give back to the community.

Where are we?

We meet every Tuesday at 12 Noon at the Tangled Wood Restaurant located at 3636 Tangledwood Road.  The first Tuesday of each calendar month is a business meeting.  Frequently, we invite speakers to join us to educate and inform us of community events and organizations.  If you would like to send us correspondence via U.S. Mail, please send it to:  Bettendorf Kiwanis Club, P.O. Box 1314, Bettendorf, IA 52722

What have we done?

Our proud service project accomplishments in this community include:  Kids Against Hunger, Cafe on Vine, Bettendorf Parks clean-up, Thanksgiving basket distribution and many more…

We’ve given our financial resources to these QC organizations in the past year:  Boys and Girls Scouts, Christian Care Center, Bettendorf Park Board’s Summer Program, H.S. After-Prom Committees, Rick’s House of Hope, School to Work Program and many more…

How do I learn more about joining the club?

  1.  Use the contact us link to leave us a message or ask a question.
  2.  Speak to one of our members about being a guest at a future meeting or service project.
  3.  Simply come to a meeting and introduce yourself!

How do you raise funds to support other non-profits?

  1.  We sell roses each April to celebrate Administrative Professional’s Day.
  2.  We assist the Optimist Club with their flag project during five US holidays every year.
  3.  We host a fun Trivia Night competition and fundraiser to support high school scholarships!

The Kiwanis Pledge:  “As our country’s flag signifies purity, valor and justice, may we true Kiwanians exemplify these virtues as we serve the children of the world.”
